Soft Tissue Ultrasound (DUS)
MDI Performs Soft Tissue Ultrasounds In Your Offices
A Diagnostic Ultrasound (mobile DUS tests) utilizes frequencies over 20,000 Hz which cannot be heard by human beings. It signals the doctor what is inside his patient anatomically and physiologically.
A computer translates echoes into an image on a television screen. Because of the differences in echogenicity of soft tissues, especially the finite variations of fluid filled tissues, ultrasound provides diagnostic images of the abdomen including the liver, gallbladder and tracts, pancreas, spleen, kidney, ureter, bladder and prostate.
Mobile DUS tests also capture images of the thyroid, uterus, ovary, and breast, and has gained credibility by insurance companies as well as physicians interested in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders. Both want “Objective Documentation” of soft tissue and bone pathology.
All major insurance carriers pay for appropriate diagnostic ultrasound testing. Diagnostic ultrasound does not use ionizing radiationi and no adverse effects on patients have ever been reported since its decades of use. Even Ob-Gyn doctors use it to evaluate fetal abnormalities.

Happy Client Say:
I have partnered with MDI for 6 years, and highly recommend them. Their doctors and technicians are highly qualified and provide great patient care. In addition, my Practice has added new revenue streams by providing NCVs, EMGs, and Ultrasound directly in our office, instead of referring them out. They are truly a good partner
